La Fondazione Bellisario Toscana, nostro partner, ci ha chiesto di diffondere questa iniziative promossa dall’Amministrazione Comunale di Firenze:
una petizione in favore della candidatura delle Donne Africane, nel loro insieme, al Premio Nobel per la Pace 2011.
Le donne africane hanno fatto nascere migliaia di piccole imprese attraverso il microcredito,hanno formato cooperative che mirano allo sviluppo economico e sociale di ogni villaggio, svolgono formazione sanitaria in maniera capillare per combattere le malattie endemiche e le pratiche contro le donne.
E’ solo attraverso le donne comuni che l’Africa può aspirare ad una società migliore.

Our partner ‘Bellisario Foundation in Tuscany’  is asking, to whoever might be interested, to adopt the petition, promoted by the Florence Town Administration, to award the Nobel Prize 2011 to the African women as a collective Nobel.
African women have, over the years, assumed a pivotal role in everyday life contributing to the African micro financial system used for the foundation of thousands of small enterprises.
African women play, in everyday life, an increasing role in new native types of social and economic activities, and  provide assistance, as well as information, to fight endemic maladies in their villages, and  traditional practices against women.
A more just and peaceful society for the African continent lies largely in the hands of its women.
