La Triennale di Milano presenta la mostra” Frank O. Gehry dal 1997″, la prima esposizione dedicata al grande architetto che riunisce la selezione dei progetti realizzati a partire dall’importante svolta stilistica del 1997, costituita dal Guggenheim Museum di Bilbao.
I progetti in mostra, per la maggior parte inediti, sono stati selezionati insieme all’architetto americano, ideando un evento espositivo che indaghi oltre agli edifici anche le loro relazioni con il territorio in un’ottica di progettazione urbanistica.

Le architetture saranno raccontate attraverso i filmati, le fotografie, i disegni, i modelli relativi alle varie fasi di elaborazione del progetto, nonché le parole dell’architetto. Parallelamente, nel percorso espositivo sono proiettati in video i materiali relativi alle tecnologie utilizzate da Gehry nelle diverse fasi del processo creativo e costruttivo.

Triennale of Milan presents the exhibition “Frank O. Gehry from 1997″, the first exhibition dedicated to the great architect who put togheter the selection of projects starting from the important stylistic turning point of 1997, consisting of the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao.
The projects on display, most of all unpublished, were selected together with the American architect, to investigate their relations with the territory in a perspective of urban design.

Architectures will be shown through film, photographs, drawings, models of the various phases of project developments, and the words of the architect. In the exhibition are also shown video materials relating to the technologies used by Gehry in different stages of the creative and constructive process.
